There are a vast amount of weight loss programs and diets available. They all focus on the quality and quantity of the food we eat, and also the amount of exercise that we get.

It is widely recognized by the medical community, to be a mistake to attempt to lose weight too quickly by going on a starvation diet.

  • If you slim too fast, you will be losing not only fat, but also muscle. Then when you eventually start to eat more again, you will put on the fat faster than the muscle.
  • Also, your diet will be so unpleasant, that it will be impossible to sustain it for the long term. So you will basically live out the rest of your days in a cycle of yo-yo dieting - always obssessed with your struggle against food.
